The food assistance program has announced the distribution dates for December
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is preparing to issue the benefits for December, with transfers of up to $292 for individual beneficiaries. This program is designed for low-income families and individuals, who receive the payments on their EBT cards to purchase basic food items at authorized supermarkets and markets.
The states that will make payments this month include New Mexico, Ohio, Tennessee, Washington, Michigan, Mississippi, and North Carolina. The transfers are scheduled between December 20 and 22, and each state follows a particular distribution method based on criteria such as Social Security number, last name initial, or case number.
